Jiggerycock
Went into Waterstones and noticed there's a whole section devoted to 'Tragic Lives'. Gave it a quick perusal, thinking there's got to be an autobiography of at least six contributors to Cunts Corner in there. Turns out it's row after row of stuff like 'A Child Called 'It'', ' Surviving Fritzl', 'My Life is a Living Hell', 'Drinking Bleach The Easy Way' etc. Social media has propogated an age of acute narcissism and shallow self-indulgence. We are encouraged to analyse and share every bad feeling or obstacle that permeates our existence. Society as a whole has been enfeebled. This tomfoolery is the apex of this slippery slope and I don't like it one little bit!
The Beast
Fuck me, cheery old start to the week. I think you are right. Too many wankers being labelled or searching for the label of depression or PTSD. In reality, many situations are just life events that cause sadness. With support and empathy from family and friends, one deals with it and becomes stronger as a result.

That there is no real crisis is irelevant, they need the clients and charge from around £30 an hour and upwards for their "services". I am a keyholder for a drop in centre for people with mental health "problems". The reality is that apart from those who have seizures or are seriously educationally subnormal, most of the others people who have not been told that their problems are just those of everyday life or are either trying to screw they system or are skivers.Sometimes they turn up with their "carers" almost without exception these "carers" are con merchants and know it or are far more screwed up and barmy than their clients and seem to be unaware of the various local specialist agencies that are there to help their clients. Jiggerycock
"Ah but it's the hidden disease no one talks about" Hidden! William and Harry garnering prime airtime to bang on about it. Every day on cocking Facebook there's the obligatory 'If you don't share this article about depression you're a Fascist bad-vibe merchant in the pay of 'The Man'' posting. Every talk show, once you get past the jokey banter with Graeme / Piers or that buck-toothed cunt on C4, and what they're there to sell, you get the obligatory serious bit about the guests struggle with PTSD / Depression / Invented Syndrome XI. Oprah....Stephen Fry....Full page pull outs in The Times......Alastair Campbell Hidden? You can't shut the fuckers up about it! I refuse to nurture! I will not share! Balls to emoting all over the shop!
Guest Lady Penelope
A frequent issue with the "PTSD" 20 something I see are "my gran died and everything fell apart". When you ask them how old their gran was "Oh 80 something, but he/she was healthy". For some reason you are not allowed to say that death was inevitable at some point and they had lived to a grand old age.

Cuntybaws
Book shops these days seem to be the sole province of hipster cunts with Macbooks drinking shitty weak coffee with caramel sauce in it, so "Tragic Lives" sounds custom made for them.
