By hallway do you mean back passage?

Had I been advising Punkers, then of course. It is also my understanding that he was a caesarean backward child, and that the experience affected him to the point that he now climbs out the sunroof of his Smartcar.

The news of today that 2,700+ died in care homes during the past 10 days is hardly surprising, given that the so-called 'care workers' at these establishments are incompetent & untrained glorified janitors, who double-up as chefs, pharmacists, Dr's and psychologists at any given time when they're not in the smoking room playing stud poker and watching porn.

I suspect that some people have been dying out of spite to push the numbers up.

… and so their next of kin get the government handout of £60k.

Only in your inadequate imagination.

That particular person has been mentioned in your responses before now, are you attempting an admission of some sort on your part or is it just part of the online persona you wish to project along with that of a skinny toff weakling?

Strange combo, are you sure you're on the right site for such an admission?

(lol)

I’ll bet you’re with Susan Boyle at the moment and rubbing her with a haggis..

I’ll bet you’re with Mbaekwe, watching him take down last year's ALDI Christmas lights from the gutter of your grotty council house.

Lol.

the media also seem to be forgetting the shocking examples of abuse in many of these institutions. There were a few just before the pandemic I seem to recall. Personally  I can't stand old people and would therefore never subject them to my 'care'. Same with dogs.

Not to mention that they tend to be imports from Eastern Europe and Africa only too grateful to be exploited by rich cunts in this country rather than be eating dirt in the shitholes they come from. A minor point but unlikely there are any “smoking rooms” anywhere in this country these days.

Good point Herr Oberst. Lucky old people and lucky old dogs I say.

Indeed. Caring homes are breeding grounds for the wannabe abusers masquerading as Saints. Inmates are subjected to lockdowns 24/7 and zonked out with morphine whether they need it or not. Furthermore, yesterdays announcement from No.10 now allows all care homes to administer any surplus meds left over from those that snuffed it, to any other inmate... Owners of these places are having a fucking field day, spreading Covid from inmate to inmate in order to free spaces for those discharged from hospital and to receive up to £60k per body which is supposedly used for: disinfecting the room; new bedding and/or furniture, industrial standard carpets and a hangman's noose.  Family members are invariably told about the sad death of their loved-one, after staff had the opportunity to fleece the corpse of its belongings and chuck the rest due to "infection"

'Eavens, I don't know where you hear all this, but the incidences of this is very rare. Each care home comes under the auspices of the local Drs surgery. We have 2 such homes within our remit with all 'inmates' registered as our patients. They are visited every week by a Dr and nurse, with the visit taking in all 'inmates'. Believe me 'eavens, if any abuse was being carried out, we would spot it.

The big jump has been announced. There has been more people snuffing in care homes than in hospital. This hasn't been helped by the governments refusal to admit such people into hospital. You can also double the 22,000 people 'reported' to have died in hospital, to account for the average Joe in the communitywho have equally been ignored by the NHS. All we hear is that there are 3,000+ beds available, and so why the fuck aint they filled? People are dying en masse solely due to NHS policy under the direction of No. 10

That's still a rip-off price, also China is restricting all exports presently so only small amounts available for UK e-traders and personal use. Purchase same by the pallet or container load then its 8-9 weeks on the water. The Range, fully embracing price gouging are selling a box of 50 paper masks at £59.99. OTOH, go to the Indian owned, Dubai based Hot-Pack and one can source 20 boxes of 50 (i.e 1000 masks) 3-ply masks for £13.50 all in (though costs of transport from port need to be added), 25 days on the water. Usually best to buy by the container to maximise cost savings. I only found this out whilst sorting out a supply issue on other items.

You may as well use your nickers. You don't use them for anything else.

Thank you for letting Withers back.

Well, look at you in your new flouncy skirt.

It wasn't a flounce. It was exactly what I said. It's bad enough with the media bombardment of 'STAY AT HOME!' (yeah, we got the message), but it was getting to be the only topic on the table for the corner.

And don't get so upset. I only made a reference to your well publicised and self-confirmed penchant for 'going commando'.

Leave him alone. 'Eavens is sending him into that care home undercover as a nurse. We'll grab one if the nurses as she comes out, Neil will get to work with the old chloroform and we'll send him in. Granted, he'll look like Bernard Breslaw in a wig and dress but let's face it, care home nurses are usually burger faced harridans at the best of times.
