I think you are right about Putin having kompromat on Trump, but I personally think its more likely to relate to certain casinos being used for money laundering on a massive scale during the 90s, and the mystery of how Don emerged like a phoenix from the flames after multiple bankruptcies, with the help of many many Russian "businessmen" who were very eager to buy condos from him.

Now, there is no evidence at present to say that agents of the Kremlin are behind this, but it does strike me as a bit strange that the doctors are refusing to say what they think the problem is.  

Its sometimes a close thing, but between China, North Korea and Russia, I find Russia the most terrifying place in the world.  I'm not much of a traveller anyway but I don't think anything could tempt me to set foot in that country.  Then again, you could always argue that you are perfectly safe, as long as you don't say anything critical of the government, and maybe you would be right.  Maybe why that's why Russia isn't a complete pariah as far as international commerce is concerned.  

 

I actually think this is too obvious. The Yanks are desperate to stop Nord Stream 2. It would be comparatively easy to assassinate a soft target like Navalny in such a way that makes the Russian govt look like the culprit. Wouldn't be the first time they threw one of their pro Western agents under a bus to create confusion and chaos. American foreign policy is looking quite rough at the moment.

They still have enough nuclear bombs to wipe out Britain. All those ex WW2 RAF bases now being used by the USAF and CIA would be evaporated in a couple of hours and half the population of England with them. So let's cut some slack...

So you would see this as a false flag attack designed to keep Russia being bombarded by sanctions (and possibly to make Navalny into a martyr figure).  Its an intriguing idea, but needs more evidence.

Some echoes of Hitler and the Nazis with Mad Vlad back in the 1930 Germans had little experience of democratic processes and as people they liked (and stil do like) order. Rabid patriotism,  armed to the teeth, annexation of parts of adjacent countries, a belief that they were the master race fed into this. We have never unified as one in the way that most other nations have, we fight amongst ourselves but when the islands as a whole are threatened we see that as a threat to all of us.
