Punkers is right. Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Georgia are all going blue. At a stretch Trump might overturn one state in court, but not at least three, which he'd need. Whatever the political leanings of the Supreme Court's justices they are still bound by the law and they're usually hesitant to get involved in election issues. Nearly all of the cases brought by the GOP so far have been thrown out for being completely groundless. This election is all over bar the shouting, or should I say shooting? I'm not saying he isn't going to lose but on the other hand, everyone said the same about George W Bush in Florida which won the 2000 election and the Democrats tried using exactly the same tactics that Trump is using now. The way I see it, the Democrats have spent 4 years refusing to respect the result of the last election which has included included gross abuse of process in the form of a frivolous impeachment trial and deliberate sabotage of numerous bills in congress purely for the purposes of damaging Trump's presidency. The Supreme court is indeed bound by the law but can you honestly say Trump's case would have been given a fair hearing by the likes of the late Ruth Bader Ginsberg who disgraced her office by calling on Trump to resign while he was president-elect? As I've just pointed out, the Supreme court intervened in Florida in 2000 when the Democrats tried to bulldoze Al Gore into office and after the wave of destruction unleashed by Biden's supporters on the run up to the election, I find it unlikely that they haven't engaged in some sort of political chicanery as well. I will grant you that Trump is going about this the wrong way by giving a running commentary over twitter and giving press conferences before a full investigation has been carried out but that's not to completely rule out that there isn't something in this. Some of your points are valid, but I don't necessarily agree with them all. I don't think the Democrats ever really got over the shock of losing four years ago, much like the Republicans will struggle to get over this loss. Florida in 2000 came down to just over 500 votes and there was a legitimate issue not covered by existing law that needed to be decided. That gave the justices an opportunity to go with their preexisting leanings. That's not the case this time. Trump is throwing around accusations of large scale fraud which just aren't true and there's no evidence to support them. Yes, there is always some fraud of perhaps hundreds of votes per state, but that goes both ways. It's largely the result of the actions of individuals rather than organised fraud on a large scale. Trump's actions now are just hurting democracy. After all, half brained Americans, if they buy into his rhetoric, may well just think in the future if it's rigged why bother to vote at all? I'll be astonished if one state gets overturned, let alone the three Trump is likely to need. He definitely needs to shut the fuck up though and let the counting finish before either conceding or challenging, if there really are legitimate grounds to do so. Of course, in the next 4 years the shoe will be on the other foot and we'll see the Senate stymieing everything Biden tries to achieve. It's tit for tat and has been thus for quite some time. Decs is right though, they're both awful candidates and that by itself is a damning indictment of American politics.
