Actually in large parts of Africa things have moved on somewhat and the wide spread of Christianity has helped to curtail the spread of Islam..........the early missionaries went into the cooking pot to the beat of the bongo-bongo men. Catholicism In Africa has helped stop the spead of AIDS by preaching abstinence and promoting marriage. Homosexuality Is correctly spoken of as immoral and correctly condemned in many countries. Africa is now exporting priests to different parts of the world where priestly vocations have fallen off because of the increasingly decadent decent of some western societies.
