Regarding "vulnerable" people there is also the issue that the NHS tends to treat all people with "vulnerable" conditions in the same way without actually looking at the patient's lifestyle .. for instance an overweight diabetic might who exercises regularly is likely to be less at risk than an overweight diabetic couch potato. But the GP practice will tend to treat both types of patient in exactly the same way. Has to the extra deaths in care home, in general the people in those homes are on their way out anyway. It has suppressed hospital admissions in the cohort of people who are at most risk of presenting with severe symptoms. You can’t say if it prevents death in the fit and well under 60’s because there are so few in this cohort it is impossible to show statistical significance. Mrs Beast has had her two vaccines, my 19 year old son will make his own decision and our 4 other children won’t be having it. Today, out of the 48 triage assessments I did, 2 people had life threatening presentations that were attributed to the AZ vaccine. This is happening every day.
