I’ve read the GDC’s disciplinary report on her. After McGowan there were multiple complaints from patients who had awoken from general anaesthetic to find that their undergarments had been disturbed and saturated with, what tests later revealed to be ‘female saliva.’ Some never got over it, one committed suicide believing the dampness and black lipgloss stains were signs of advanced cock-cancer. The woman’s despicable.

Wrong move. Root canal - may last you out. £75? on NHS. Double crowns on two implants £2k plus six month check ups? Implants are for

# nothing left, no choice

# you're in showbiz and need perfect smile etc., self-employed/freelance can offset as a business expense

Seen that film Wrong Turn? The horror has just begun.

Root canal was done before. Twice in the same tooth. Clearly the tooth had issues which were hard to fix well.
The other one was broken but repairable, so granted had a better chance of survival. But I discussed it with two dentists and was told that it may be prone to further issues as it was rather crumbly on examination. The two implants (if they infuse with the bone, I know we will see about that), will create a good frame should I need a bridge/dentures in the future. Time will tell.

Teeth with ongoing, even when painless infections can be hazardous if they are not detected and treated. They can rot the surrounding bone and cause other health issues. I have taken steps with the view of my general health even though repairs were so much cheaper but could have proved to be a temporary fix.

Burned out GPs? Burned out on what?

The GPs I've worked with work 4 days in the week and usually they choose to work their day off at a hospital on their speciality. When walk in surgeries were around, you could have 40 patients piling in at 9am and they would all be seen. Each clinician would have a pile of patient files on their desk and they would work through them. No 15 minutes per patient then. Between surgeries they would do a few home visits then they would do it all again in the afternoon. I don't want to piss you off LCS but I do not feel sorry for GPs in the slightest.

I was thoroughly burned out by the time I left, Gyps. Through my career my average consults per day fell by a third, but the length of a consult almost doubled. My working week grew by more than a third, even without doing out of hours. 90% of the complaint letters I received came in the last 3 years - and it was a lower than average number. My income fell in real terms every year bar one from 2008. My pension was diluted and “modernised”. Secondary care became anonymous and much harder to access. Patients, once grateful for you saving their meningitic baby at 3am, now threatened to sue you if you refused to prescribe puberty blockers for their nine year old boy who wants to be called Jane. I used to write “2/7 UTI, afeb nil pyuria, abx” in a Lloyd George envelope, now I had to type a whole heap of pointless shit into a computer or I wouldn’t be paid. My colleagues all sensibly left and were hard to replace. The media turned on us all. I was inspected, audited and appraised annually in a process lasting several days. Employing 40 odd people, many of them middle aged women, was increasingly an utter nightmare. Time was I’d see the bods at the Health Authority once a year over coffee and mince pies, my late career CCG convened a meeting once a month to discuss many things, including inter-doctor variation in requesting MSU samples and whether the potential saving of fifty quid per doctor was worth setting up a working group. QoF was what you did to Shiraz.

You were a practice nurse, I gather. So you know this already. I wouldn’t dream of seeking your pity. Just agree it’s a very different job than it was 30 plus years ago, and increasingly no bugger wants to do it. I don’t blame them. My last 2 years felt like twenty.

There was a large and long notice in the private dental clinic I attended to have my implants done, regarding unacceptable patient behaviour. A sad thing to see.

@Joker has a permanent life time ban from Crufts due to multiple incidents of exposing himself to Best in Show. He's also blacklisted at The Kennel Club.

As for his neighbour's dog, it turned him down, finding an afternoon eating its own shit and licking its balls more palatable than a few hours spent with that sinister, mouth breathing cunt.

I knew some smart cunt would beat me to the punchline. Did you know that Jokers restraining order prevents him from going within a mile of Battersea Dogs Home, after an unfortunate incident whilst volunteering there.

I defer to His Maj KB on all matters crown related. On another matter, I swear I read in here once that Roops was a dentist in a former life... is it not a bit odd that she appears not to have anything to contribute to this discussion?

I reckon google has told her to fuck off and let the rest of the world have a go.

Like that’d work 🙄

You seem a bit grumpy these days KR! I have two theories as to why.

1) Tooth ache.

2) Wizard took you to the overlook hotel when you were younger.

There was a time when dentists whipped peoples teeth out in one swoop and fitted dentures. It may have saved them years of suffering, but can cause long term issues with gum erosion so even dentures can't fit? By that time your bone mass is so weak you probably can't have implants anyway. Nothing is better than nature whatever dentists say about titanium and grafts and fusing. It's all liable to go wrong at some point. Having said that Nature is pretty random with her dental handouts. A sixty year old Caribbean lady told me she never brushed her teeth and lived on sugar and had never had toothache or been to the dentist. I like many others seem to lurch from one visit to the dentist after another. Finding a decent dentist is a lifetime's work now. By the time you've reached pensiin age most town dentists that make their money from the industrialised drilling and filling of children and families just regard you as a lost cause and haven't the time, the expertise or the incentive to apply the sort of treatments you require so you have to fully private to a more specialised clinic setting. That's where large sums of money can be sucked out of your wallet. If it wasn't for my ten inch cock needing to be exercised every couple of weeks I'd probably be happy with a toothless grin.

I detect rule infringement and Rollo extraction.

Let's be honest CH, your detection skills are compromised by whatever made you the way you are.

Were you dropped on your head at a young age, or perhaps went lead paint tasting?

In any case, I can assure you that KR is not in breach of any rule on CC.  I believe that he's just a bit on edge.

Harold, if your cock is ten inches long, and you have no lower back issues, think of all the solo action you could have with a toothless mouth.

I do confess to being born next to a car battery firm.
