Indeed, countless people are de-arrested every day. In the vast majority of cases Crown Immunity kicks in where a genuine error or an incorrect judgement call has been made or a clearer idea emerges over who did what. However such immunity is not afforded when an officer deliberately and knowingly detains and arrests a person as a retaliatory measure for no other reason other than an inability to keep the blue ego in check. In the Bianca Williams case I suspect her solicitors will be questioning the legitimacy of racial profiling given the confused explanations by the police as to why the stop was instigated in the first place. By all accounts the officers concerned had thrown the Met's Operational & Procedure handbook in the bin. We'll see.

What's made my piss really boil about this is not so much the obvious arrogance of the police officers but the self righteousness of Linford Christie, who chimed in demanding answers like he isn't the proven fraud and drug cheat he really is. I think it's appalling that he was allowed to keep his Olympic gold medal when he appears to be the only sprinter in history that got faster in his 30s.

I’ve always played golf and followed the amateur game rather than deify the professionals many of whom are uneducated prats....Rory Mclroy for example.Professional players are not allowed in my club except by invitation and they cannot become members.The bulk of them are complete arseholes.

I know little about hunting because I’m not really interested in it but those who object to it have wider destructive and tyrannical agendas.
