Love or hate Tony Blair and New Labour, the effective neutering of the Conservative party for over a decade during their wilderness years of 1997-2010 didn't improve the country. NHS - room for improvement but nothing crazy. Modern healthcare is very expensive and people live a lot longer. Let’s be sensible. Housing: no UK passport - no house buying, like in Austria. The other very pertinent reason why this happened is of course not being discussed by the fucking media. The labour vote in many multicultural areas held up. But not in predominately white working class areas. Johnson only got 300, 000 votes more than Mrs Fucking May did in 2017, Corbyn was down 2.6 million votes and Swivel Head Farage only totalled 640,000. If they were that bothered about Brexit they could have voted for Farage or Johnson. They clearly didn't. Many working white people in this country are disenfranchised by identity politics and that is the untold truth of this election.
